Compliances calculation and performance analysis of Half Circular-Elliptical Hybrid flexure hinges

چکیده

A novel flexure hinge named half circular-elliptical hybrid flexure hinge was presented. Based on Castigliano’s Displacement Theorem, the compliance equations of the novel flexure hinge were formulated. A computer aided analysis and parametric design program of the half circular-elliptical hybrid flexure hinge was developed by VC++6.0. A specific half circular-elliptical hybrid flexure hinge was designed simultaneously, and the similar results of theoretical calculation and finite element simulation were obtained which verified the correctness of the compliance equations. Furthermore, the performance of half circular-elliptical hybrid flexure hinges was analyzed, the results demonstrated a better comprehensive performance of half circular-elliptical hybrid flexure hinges.
